Frequently Asked Questions

If you shopped with us prior to January 2010 on our old design website, your account and login details have not been transferred to our new designed website.  Simply register as a new customer and you'll be able to place an order with us.  We have a record on our system of any orders you placed in the past and loyalty points you have accrued.

Once you go into the Paypal transaction screen, our system remembers your order and marks it pending - so it has reserved the items on the order for you.  If you need us to release the order so that you can process your Paypal transaction again, just drop us an email.  Remember that you can always pay by cheque or postal order if you have any technical problems with Paypal, eg you've changed your card since you used it last and are unsure how to register a new card.  We will always contact you if we have received a pending order where the Paypal transaction hasn't gone through to check whether you wish to proceed with the order or cancel.  If you log into your account on our website you should be able to view your pending order.

Yes!... the majority of our orders received by 3pm are in the post the same day using 1st class Royal Mail.  Be reassured - our most popular comments back from customers are complementing us on our very quick service!  If there is ever an occasion where dispatch will be longer than 48 hours from ordering, we will contact you to let you know.

We strive to keep our website stock levels as accurate as possible, but with thousands of products in stock it is possible that sometimes an item showing in stock has sold out.  In such a case, we will contact you to advise whether it can be restocked and give you the option to be refunded for that item, or to wait for it to arrive in and be dispatched at a later date.  If you choose to have a backorder, you can cancel this and request a refund at any time by just dropping us an email.

In many occasions yes - just drop us an email and we can advise you of when stock is expected and make the product live so that you can process a pre-order. 

Unfortunately, our website does not enable us to add a 'collect' option with no P&P charges.  Please process your order with the charges attached and they will be refunded to you on collection of your order.

We attend events which means we are often away from the phone.  Please always leave us a message, or drop us an email and we will always return your call at the earliest opportunity.  We often work during the evenings putting together orders, so we are happy to call customers during the evening.  Usually the best time to contact us by phone is after 4pm.

Yes - we are happy to attend crafting clubs or crafting events within the region and can bring along our mobile shop for your club too.  We can also run demonstrations or workshops at request.  We have attended various WI groups and other social groups to provide demonstrations and talks.
